Definition of Standalone Feature
A machine or VM installed BOTH CICB-Server (S) and CICB-Client (C) with/without any network access when using it.
Let’s say a customer bought a CICB package that contained 1 CICB-Server (S) and 3 CICB-Clients (C). Now, the customer can choose how to distribute his licenses to fit his needs. There are two possible ways:
Standalone Feature: OFF
One CICB-Server license serves multiple CICB clients.
- One computer with CICB-Server (S) MUST be within the same network as others.
- Suitable for workstations where located inside a SCIF.

Standalone Feature: ON
One CICB-Server license is split into multiple ones to match the total number of CICB -clients.
- Each computer is independent of each other with/without networks.
- Suitable for laptops on the go.
