CICBv2 Windows (10+)
- All requirements are included within the installation package.
- Install CICBv2.
CICBv2 Linux Requirements
IMPORTANT
GNOME Desktop Environment (default on Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, CentOS) requires an extension to display System Tray icons. Other environments like KDE Plasma, XFCE, or MATE support tray icons natively and do not require extensions.

Ubuntu: Works out of the box (Ubuntu includes the “AppIndicator” extension by default).
Debian / Other Distros: Users must install the AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support extension for the tray icon to appear.
GNOME Extension Requirements
- Ubuntu/Debian:
sudo apt install libqt6widgets6 libqt6gui6 libqt6core6 libqt6dbus6 libqt6network6 libqt6opengl6 - RHEL/CentOS:
sudo dnf installsudo dnf install qt6-qtbase-gui qt6-qtbase-widgets - [OPTIONAL] Install GNOME Shell Integration via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. (You can adjust the settings manually)
- [OPTIONAL] Install the Dash to Panel extension via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, then click on the toggle button to enable it. (You can adjust the settings manually)
- Unzip the CICBv2 installation file (zip) to your desired location.
